Exam Invigilators required for various schoolsThe exam period is now starting and we are looking to recruit flexible invigilators to work part time and full time hours during this period.Main Duties: To support the Examinations Officer with the day-to-day operation ofexamination venues. This activity may include:Support with the set-up of examinations.Assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations by directing them totheir seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examinationvenues.Offering advice and guidance to unregistered candidates without allocatedseats.Ensuring that candidates do not talk once inside examination venues.Invigilating during examinations, dealing with queries raised by candidatesand dealing with examination irregularities in accordance with strictprocedures.Checking attendance during examinations.Recording details of late arrivals and early leavers and collecting scripts fromearly leavers.Escorting candidates from venues during the examinations as required andsupervising candidates whilst outside examination venues.Collecting and collating scripts at the end of the examination in accordancewith strict procedures.Assisting with the preparation of script envelopes.Supervising candidates leaving examination venues, ensuring thatcandidates do not remove equipment or stationery from the venue withoutauthorisation and ensuring that candidates leave venues in an orderly andquiet manner.Assisting with the packing of examination papers, stationery and equipmentprior to the examinations and the delivery to and from venues as appropriate.Assisting with the preparation of seating plans.Assisting with logging in of computers for on-screen examinations.If you are interested in working in a role like this, please send your CV and details of your experience to manchester@ednetwork.co.uk
