A sports mad Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant is required at a primary school in South Manchester. Our client school is seeking a committed and understanding person to support a pupil in order to build their confidence and support their learning.

The role will commence ASAP and is expected to last for the remainder of the academic year.

As a SEN TA it is vital that you are patient, understanding and compassionate. You will experience a variety of challenges on a daily basis so it is very important you can react and use your initiative.

Candidates must have:

Experience with children with similar needs
Previous SEN TA experience
Strong behaviour management skills
A strong interest in sports (particularly contact sports)
Knowledge of additional needs
Interest in working with children
A positive and enthusiastic approach
