Music Administrator required for short term sickness cover in Manchester
Are you a music graduate looking for an opportunity to work in a large, successful department supporting the Music staff? Do you have a high level of administrative skills and want to enable the efficient running of a department?
The Education Network are currently recruiting for a Music Administrator for an outstanding school situated just on the outskirts of Manchester. This is a full time and is due to start after February half term break until the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for supporting the Music Department across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Have a Music degree or equivalent
Excellent administrative skills - able to deal with reprographics, SIMS and general admin duties
Have an understanding of some music computer packages
Be able to use a computer and have an understanding of Microsoft office.
Have an up to date DBS (we can apply for that for you)
Support teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 and some KS5
Helping with the preparation of work as well as musical Up to date knowledge of subject curriculum
Be able to manage copying of resources, use certain computer packages such as Sibelius
Be able to manage and organise extra curricular activities, school concerts and support musically with the yearly production, trips, exams
Manage instrumental lessons and all the paperwork that goes along with it
Be able to build good working relationships with students
Working proactively with other team members
