ESOL tutor required for a part time role in Blackpool and Lancashire.
I am currently working with a local authority who have a couple of children who are needing English tuition as they have come to this country with little English language.
You will be required to have:
The ability to be flexible, dynamic and innovative in the delivery of ESOL programmes
The ability to deliver ESOL learning opportunities in a range of environments, e.g. 1:1 tuition, group work, within practical activities
Being willing, and able, to take responsibility for the development of existing and new curricula centred around delivering ESOL
A willingness and ability to move from one programme to another at short notice to meet the needs of a dynamic workload
Be keen to support children with EAL, who might have some challenging behaviours or be SEMH.
If you have a knowledge of Vietnamese this would be an advantage but not essential.
If you are qualified to teach the core subjects, are happy with part time work and want to make a difference to young people's lives, please send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org or ring 0161 234 9960
