We are currently looking for a KS1 teacher to cover a mixture of year 1 and 2 at a large primary school in the Ashington area on a fixed term contract lasting for the full year with the potential to become permanent thereafter.
This is a genuine role that is set to begin immediately after half and as such we request that applicants have an up to date DBS check as there would not be enough time before half term to process one.
The school have a reputation for fantastic support to their teachers and have created a really vibrant working environment. You would have great SLT support all the way through the term and there would also be the opportunity (staffing dependant) to complete an induction year if you are an NQT.

-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
-Recent teaching experience in a school in the UK and flexibility with your working environments
-Superb behaviour management skills and the ability to build a strong, professional rapport with children and staff
-Commitment and passion to good teaching practice and quality supply teaching
- Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities
-The pedagogy of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children including classroom organisation and learning strategies
