Health and Social Care Sunderland
The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a reputable Secondary School in Sunderland in search of a Teacher of Health and Social Care. The role is initially temporary from February - July, however there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be extended or appointed on school contract.
The school is known for being one of the most reputable in the LEA and the successful candidate will be joining a dedicated, passionate and committed department. In order to be successful in your application you must be confident and experienced in teaching Health and Social Care at KS3-4, any experience of KS5 teaching would be advantageous. Behaviour on the whole is 'Good' although due to the high number on roll it is essential that you posses excellent behaviour management skills, and have an enthusiastic and engaging approach to your lessons.
Requirements for this role:
- QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English at KS3-4
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience in the classroom
-Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
