History Teacher - Newcastle
Our client school is currently in search of a talented and passionate History teacher to complete a long term placement until the end of the current academic year, commencing as soon as possible.
This School based in Newcastle teaches pupils from 11-16 years of age. With recent redevelopment and expansion the school is able to boast having the highest quality of facilities and resources available to their teachers. The school is graded as 'Good', however is it essential that teachers posses excellent behaviour management skills in order to maintain a positive classroom environment.
Primarily the successful candidate will be teaching Newcastle across the age and ability range at KS3/4. Any experience of any other humanities subject is advantageous but not an essential criteria. This post is initially to cover long term sickness absence; however there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be appointed permanently due to openings in the humanities department for academic year 2018/19.
Successful candidates will:
" Be experienced teaching KS3-4
" Hold QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification.
" Posses excellent behaviour management skills
" Be passionate and enthusiastic about your subject
" Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
